In August 2022, the President of Matsiko Children International asked Reel Stories founder Mark Lee Hegarty to produce a DVD and CD in Liberia. The goal was to create entertaining merchandise for the Matsiko World Orphan Choir to sell on their tour of the USA.
The brief given was a blank piece of paper.
Today, less than 2 months after receiving the commission, we received copies of ‘Through These Eyes’ CDs and DVDs.
The CD features songs recorded by the choir in Liberia. The DVD is over 90 minutes of highly entertaining film, shot by the children as they prepared for their tour of the USA. It also includes music videos filmed by the choir members.
We were thrilled to receive the first pressings today in Monterrey, California.
